Dress Code
The golf course and clubhouse serve members, their guests, non-member individuals and groups who book the facilities. These users are expected to be knowledgeable of the dress code and comply with it at all times. Copies of the dress code are available to all members and staff.
RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM USERS OF THE DRESS CODE IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Members for informing their guests to the golf course or clubhouse of the dress code.
- Those booking the facilities (members or non-member) for informing their guests of the dress code.
- The Pro Shop and clubhouse staff will ensure that all individuals are complying with the dress code.
CLUBHOUSE DRESS CODE IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Appropriate golf attire is required in the clubhouse unless designated otherwise for particular functions. At no time are spiked golf shoes, caps, hats or visors permitted on the upper level of the clubhouse. Soft spike or spikeless shoes may be worn throughout the clubhouse March 15th through October 31st. These dates may be amended relative to course conditions and moisture. Women may wear formal headwear or dress attire without collars or sleeves for special occasions.
- Members and guests attending and participating in "theme" nights or other special events in the banquet area may be excused from adhering to the dress code provided that the attire being worn is consistent with the night or nature of the special event.
- For private evening functions, women's dresses or gowns do not need sleeves or collars. Strapless or "spaghetti string" tops/dresses are acceptable. Men are requested to remove their hats at these functions but women may wear appropriate headwear.
- Fashion, colours and good taste should guide the attire of members and their guests. Members, guests and visitors are required to wear appropriate golf attire whenever they are on the golf course or in the clubhouse, as follows.
MEN'S DRESS CODE:
- Appropriate golf attire consists of shirts, slacks or tailored shorts and appropriate shoes (i.e. soft-spike or non-spiked). In the clubhouse, soft spike shoes are permitted during the April through September months; non-spiked golf shoes and non-golf shoes are permitted year-round; spiked shoes are not permitted at any time. Shirts must have collars and sleeves and should be tucked in at the waist. Shorts must be tailored dress shorts that are no shorter than mid-thigh.
WOMENS DRESS CODE:
- Appropriate golf attire consists of skirts, slacks or tailored shorts, shirts or blouses and appropriate shoes (i.e. soft-spike or non-spiked). In the clubhouse, soft spike shoes are permitted during the April through September months; non-spiked golf shoes and non-golf shoes are permitted year-round; spiked shoes are not permitted at any time. Shirts and blouses should have collars and/or sleeves and should be tucked in at the waist. Shorts should be tailored dress shorts that are no less that mid-thigh in length. Skirts and/or skorts must also be at least mid-thigh in length.
- Blue jeans are acceptable in the lounge, coffee shop and lower floor of the clubhouse. Jeans are not permitted on the golf course or in the dining room.
- The following are not acceptable attire on the golf course or in the clubhouse: rugby pants, cut-offs, athletic shorts, surfer shorts, sweat pants, tank tops, undershirts worn as outerwear,athletic and team jerseys, or any item of clothing with large cartoon graphics or commercial logos.
