DEAR PROSPECTIVE MEMBER,

Thank you for your interest in one of Victoria’s premier golf facilities, the Gorge Vale Golf Club. Designed by A. Vernon Macan in 1927, this championship golf course offers our members and guests a traditional, picturesque golf course with premium playing conditions. The undulating terrain and challenging layout ensures every hole is different, providing a real test for golfers of all skill levels.

Since A. Vernon Macan’s original design, Gorge Vale has constantly been taking steps to enhance the playing characteristics of the course and clubhouse amenities. A 2001 renovation of the course by golf architect Les Furber, solidified Gorge Vale’s reputation as one of the best golf layouts on Vancouver Island. Now in 2010, after an extensive clubhouse redesign which saw enhancements to the kitchen, dining room, lounge and outside deck areas the clubhouse is now on par with the golf course. The club's long term direction has been, and will continue to be, the continual improvement of the golf course facilities. Gorge Vale is not just a place to play great golf; to our members it’s a second home.
