PACE OF PLAY

Gorge Vale welcomes guests and outside players to enjoy the facilities, however, it is a condition of playing at this course that you play within the stated pace of play and do not fall back of the groups ahead. If you fall behind the group in front of you, please pick up your ball, and catch up. In order to create an enjoyable experience for everyone on the golf course, we ask each group to keep pace with the group in front of them. The Gorge Vale Golf Clubs goal is to have our 18-hole rounds completed in 4 hours 15 minutes or less.

DRESS CODE

The golf course and clubhouse serve members, their guests, non-member individuals and groups who book the facilities. These users are expected to be knowledgeable of the dress code and comply with it at all times.

Men

• Collared golf shirts, turtleneck or mock turtlenecks are
• acceptable. All shirts must have sleeves.
• Slacks and shorts must be tailored and in good repair. Shorts are to be no shorter than 3” above the knee.
• No garment in blue denim is permitted on the golf course or in the dining room.
• No metal spike shoes are allowed on the golf course.
• No hats or golf shoes permitted in the upper portion of the clubhouse.

Women

• Tops must have either collars or sleeves or both.
• Tops must be tucked in, unless designed to be worn otherwise. No bare midriffs.
• No garment in blue denim is permitted on the golf course or in the dining room.
• No metal spike shoes are allowed on the golf course.
• No hats or golf shoes permitted in the upper portion of the clubhouse.

SMOKING

Please note that CRD bylaws do not allow smoking in doorways, on patios or in the area surrounding the snack window.
